Synopsis

Trunks returns to the future and is reunited with Bulma. As tranquility seems to return, the androids are attacking again. Trunks saves an elderly man from being killed by Androids #17 and #18. Thanks to his training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Trunks easily destroys the two androids. Three years later, Trunks prepares to head back into the past to tell everyone of his victory. However, there is still one more android to stop: Cell, in his Imperfect Form. After a brief fight, Trunks launches Cell into the air and destroys him with ease as well. Peace is finally restored to the future timeline. Back in the present, Goku begins his new "life" in the Other World.

A great conclusion to Trunks' arc!

This episode focuses on showing the events in Future Trunks' world and how he dealt with the threats that arose after the battle against Cell. The episode convincingly explores how he found the strength to move forward, even after so many losses and tragedies. Seeing the character mature and make crucial decisions to ensure the future of his world is one of the most rewarding parts.

The sense of completeness that the episode brings is remarkable. It closes Trunks' arc very satisfactorily, addressing not only the external conflicts he faced, but also the internal ones, which were inevitable after everything that ...

Dragon Ball Z Kai: Bring Peace to the Future! Goku's Spirit is Eternal, also known as episode 98 of Dragon Ball Kai! It was a really bittersweet end to the Dragon Ball Z Kai series and wrapped it up nicely making way for the Final Chapters :D definitely a must-watch for those who want to bring clarification for what happens when Future Trunks goes back to his timeline..

but *spoiler alert for the episode*

Mixed Feelings
This episode could have been an e-mail.

Now don’t get me wrong, I like conclusions to stories, but it really feels like not much has happened in this special. Like sure, it’s cool to see Trunks getting his revenge on these troublemakers. Sure, it’s cool to see how he became so powerful he doesn’t even struggle beating them. But defeating the two androids in one move each and Cell with two moves just feels a bit *too* rushed. No eyecandy moves, no interesting choreography, just blink and you’ll miss it defeat. Which is fascinating because the issue with Dragon Bal lis usually that the fights ...
