New Interest Stack
Interest Stacks![]() ![]() More hidden gems (once again, only ones that rank below 2,000 in 'Popularity' on MAL). ![]() ![]() The criteria here is simple: Anime released in 2001 or earlier, with under 25,000 MAL Members, and which I've rated a 6 or higher. ![]() ![]() More anime dubbed by Ocean Productions Part 2. ![]() ![]() Some of these are questionable, like Suisei no Gargantia can be argued to be fully sci-fi, but there is a feel to it that makes me include it, along with organic and archaic elements that are woven together in a way that makes this appear more fantastical than your average sci-fi. Similarly, Gankutsuou is sci-fi with advanced technology, but it's futuristic imagery is conceptualized to cohere with the elegant 19th century setting of Dumas' novel. I'm also avoiding the inclusion of more than one entry per series, so if season 1 is on here, then season 2 likely fits just as much. ![]() ![]() Newly released & mentionable titles aired from 1990 t0 1999. Sequels, spin-offs, OVAs, and related movies are not included. ![]() ![]() Original sci-fi anime, one entry per series/franchise. ![]() ![]() The end of the world has always been one of the most fascinating settings in anime. Whether it is a ruined city overgrown with nature, empty wastelands full of danger, or societies barely hanging on, these stories take us to places where survival is never guaranteed. Post apocalyptic anime capture both the silence of destruction and the resilience of people who refuse to give up even when everything seems lost. ![]() ![]() A list of all of the anime that aired on the 90s SciFi Channel's Saturday anime block in the US. They are listed in order of their debut. ![]() ![]() The seiyuu Inoue Kikuko https://myanimelist.net/people/195/Kikuko_Inoue?q=inoue%20kikuko&cat=person is known for frequently playing maternal characters or characters who at least have a nurturing personality. This is a list of all the anime where she plays a character with biological children. |
