Here's another example of 'alternate' universes. Remember the first OVA w' the girls (Graduation) where they promised to stay in touch w/ each other after they moved onto college, or wherever, right? Wistful-type show. well, take the same girls and put them in a screwball magical-girl anime, with mecha, sailor-fuku and more speeches about defense then i saw in the last 2 Presidential debates, and you got Sailor Victory. And they went on to make still another 'universe' (Marriage) which had nothing to do w/ the first two OVA's. OK, you get the point. darn near as many universes as Tenchi Muyo.
