Story: 6.5/10. I understand the story so much but i don't have time to explain to you. But the ending was so sad...

Art: 7.5/10. The art is beautiful and the edit of the softness into the animation was beautiful. it wasn't really special.

Sound: 7/10. This hentai played that beautiful 80's and 90's music (even though it was in the 2000's). The sting music was good (when Kaoru was dreaming about the other girl that reminded him of Alice). I felt good vibes during the songs. The songs are stuck in my head now. It reminds me of how i can watch hentai with beautiful ... music back-in-the-days and not listen to EDM and pop music. The songs from this hentai are eternal.

Characters: 7.5/10 The characters were ok. My favorite character is Alice. I love her because i didn't care about the fact that she was a robot, that she was just an unemotional robot, I learned something. In Episode 2, she started to feel and get emotions. She loved Kaoru so much. Until Episode 3. She had sex with him and then she turned evil. She turned into the girl who originally loved Kaoru when Kaoru was younger. Alice's legs and arms are stuck into plugs when she told Kaoru how much she loved him. Unfortunately, the Xinn was inside of her and the Xinn was gonna destroy the world but Kaoru had to kill her. There was no tears. The Alice that was stuck in plugs were in Kaoru's arms. The place that they were in exploded. She was already dead but Kaoru died in that explosion with him holding Alice. I loved Alice so much. I almost cried.

Enjoyment: 5.5/10. I enjoyed everything except the sex scenes. The sex scenes were boring. It just didn't feel like a hentai to me. It felt like a 2000's version of a action anime but hentai used in it.

Overall: 7.5/10. This hentai is so.. eternal..

Alright, so here's one of those hentais with an actual story. The story starts out with an assailant that seem to have lost part of his memory and he gets an android as a new partner. They both get a mission to assassinate a guy that doesnt seem to die just by eliminating the body and in doing so they find out about the drug called "Ninth Heaven". Things happen on the way such as the android developing emotional feelings and his sister from the security police also getting involved. It just looks like a normal action thriller invloving drugs but there seems to ... be more it.
The animation isnt that good. A few laggy frames, but the huge fail was at the sex scenes where they pretty much sucked.
The sound was just ok, nothing too special. The only real part where they failed was again, at the sex scenes.
The characters develop at a fair pace, although some might seem confusing, it was ok.
I guess enjoyed most of the story and some scenes in the 2nd ep. If you like good stories try this one, but if you just want the H scenes the only ones worth looking at are in the 2nd ep. Overall i would've given this a Good score for actually having a good story, but failed at its main point of being a hentai so that got it down to a Fair.

Wow, another Arms (aka Studio Pierrot) hentai that could have been some mind-blowing cyberpunk, but was derailed by sex scenes and VN tropes! This is what some of the final hand-painted animation cels of the new millennium were wasted on!

Luv Wave has decent gunfights, car designs, a cool sheltered city, and some politics and philosophizing about the nature of reality and humanity. If this was real anime, it would have been a classic like Stand Alone Complex. But this is an eroge adaptation, so nobody involved cared about the story that much, and all this setup is wasted.

The story is told at a barebones, ... minimal level. It's window dressing for disgusting, extreme, violent sex scenes, including blackmail, rape, and gore. There is something there about existentialism and what it means to be a human living on Earth, but the anime fails to use it and instead channels it towards bog-standard, emotionally manipulative eroge cliches about android girls. Eventually, the hero, who is supposed to be a cool gunslinging action dude, becomes obsessed with these android girls. How is that cool?! The anime also becomes obsessed with these android girls; it tries to have a mind-blowing, cosmic-scale ending, but it's just a series of TWO fakeouts leading back to the hero's relationship with the android girls! This is the type of burn that makes you angry at a show.

The political drama is squandered. Like Tokio Private Police, it's mostly a lead in for sex scenes and eroticism, except in one instance where it's a lead in for an action scene. Heck, one scheming villain, Dyne Wiseman, has a major role to play in the story, but is mostly used in sex scenes as a sexy Cima Garahau type. So at least Luv Wave isn't as bad as Tokio Private Police and has one sexy waifu (albeit one who is constantly sexually brutalized and violently killed after a sex scene)? Is that Arms' standard for "good"?!

Overall, the scene of the hero riding his car through his city and a couple of the gunfights are the only good parts of this pile of crap. You can find the former on Youtube and you can find many similar gunfights in Bee Train anime. Luv Wave merely wants credit for its setting and doesn't care about giving you a good story, so you shouldn't care about it either.
