Alice to Zouroku

Girl with special powers escapes from research facility in which she was experimented upon and finds safe haven in our MC. The main difference is that Alice to Zouroku is more light-hearted while Elfen Lied is quite violent. 

Almost identical. Young girl with supernatural powers is on runaway and finds custody in (much) older male MC. 

They both have fantasy (Alice in wonderland inspired) world's in which the main character 'controls'. Both have an animation style (although different) that is respectful of said fantasy world. Whilst Alice to Zouroku is slightly more SoL oriented than Flip Flappers (which I think is more adventure oriented), If you like one you will definitely enjoy the other.  

A cute loli wanted by the government shows up one day all of a sudden in the protagonist's life, and from there they find out what living in family is like. Anyone who likes lolis with superpowers and a bunch of cute comedy will come to like these two animes. 

Both have the core theme of a child/youth learning the basics of human life and the world after being released from an institutionalized unhealthy environment they were raised in, having being used merely as an object. By following the protagonists' journeys in becoming more human, the shows explore the question of what it means to be so. 

Pretty much the same older man to loli relationship, except one was more of slice of life, while the other is more on sci-fi considering that the loli there is a science lab experiment who got away, while in the other one, the lolis there where more like interview subjects.  

The characters give off the same vibe.  

Both are "Normal meets supernatural" kind of anime. Both feature over-powered lolis. And they both have characters who despite their differences have to learn to live together. 

-both main characters are little girls -both taken care of by an old man -both seeking for their goal -strong age gap realtionship alongside with supernatural action  

Both anime features a non-human character getting adopted to a human family. 

Two girls with superpowers suddenly find themselves living in modern-day Japan and having to adapt. The main characters of these two anime share similar situations, and the plot develops in rather akin ways as well. 

Kids with different superpowers try to carry out a normal life but inevitably find themselves in tricky situations. These two animes are fun to watch for anyone that likes to see the creativity behind said superpowers, and who like unconventional battles, as well as for those who like animes with a strong focus on the meaning of family. 

it seems like it will be some sort of Rozen Maiden all over again, in this case "dreams of alice" both contain mystical girls with supernatural powers, and the MC that gets involved on it no matter what... pretty similar to this point. it yet has to develop, but so far if you liked Rozen Maiden, i'm sure that you will enjoy this  

Young girl MC who is (begrudgingly) taken under the wing of an older man. Alice to zouroku has a element of mystery and "action" to it while Usagi drop is more plain slice of life.  

A mix of cute slice of life and darker action/drama. 

Sana is the red queen and Anna is the red princess. Both are little girls with magical powers who have been forced to endure painful testing. Both have also found friendship with a grumpy man. While the two stories are quite different, Sana and Anna have a large number of similarities. 

Both anime have cute little girls used as weapons, and a male protagonist (in Alice & Zouroku the male protagonist is an old man) to protect them Both are dark anime (airing in the same Spring 2017 season) that looks and feels "lighthearted" 

Both have a very enticing story that grabs you in, they both have real life people who get the powers of magic, they both have a power hungry person/organization that wants to know more and gain more control. They both have a "magic world" and they're filled with action and adventure. 

Similar looking character designs and girls in frilly outfits with magic powers / crystal type things. A 'serious' magical girls show. 

basically Alice to Zouroku in reverse. a girl with an exceptional talent compared to all the other talents goes into a special compound designed to protect normal society from these special people to save her friend and ends up learning about life and how confusing it can be and that not everyone is a good person deep down....... i'm gonna be one of those people and say the manga was better, for really no other reason than more in-depth back story and continuation of the story; although the ending really sucked...... 

Ever wanted to watch an entire series about happening inside Sana's Wonderland? I recommend that you watch Humanity Has Declined, which centres around a girl interacting with fairies-like whose powers create all sorts of craziness for her. Humanity Has Declined can be categorized as absurdist fiction so it's not for everyone. For those coming from Humanity Has Declined, Alice & Zouroku is a more standard anime. Zouroku would be a much more effective mediator than Watashi, but he only needs to handle Sana who has fairies-like powers.

Both feature young girls with psychic powers that are misunderstood, as well as an older mentor figure who is the one person there for them. While Zettai Karen Children has a lot more comedy in the beginning, it moves into a more drama-focused story in the latter half. 

Both have cutesy main characters. I was instantly reminded of Tsumugi when I started Alice. The dramatic elements are way stronger in Alice but both have very tender moments. Sweetness and Lightning has a lighter mood and is strictly more "slice of life" about food and Tsumugi being raised by her single dad. Sana in Alice is somewhat raised by old man Zouroku so they are similar in that regard as well. Both are very sweet overall and get high ratings from me! 

Unusually-old protagonists find themselves looking after mysterious children who are on the run from powerful enemies. Both shows punctuate fantasy slice-of-life with occasional but intense action setpieces. Both have similar outlooks: mature and a little world-weary but fundamentally optimistic. If you like stories about reasonable adults doing reasonable things and good-natured but immature children finding their place in the world, you'll probably love both of these shows.
