Kekkai Sensen & Beyond

Three years ago, a gateway between Earth and the Beyond opened in New York City, trapping extradimensional creatures and humans alike in an impermeable bubble. After the city's restoration, monsters, magic, and madness are common findings in the area now known as Hellsalem's Lot. Leonardo Watch, a young photographer who unwillingly obtained the "All-seeing Eyes of the Gods" in exchange for his sister's eyesight, came to this paranormal city to find answers to the mysterious power that he possesses. He later finds his life drastically changed when he joins Libra, a secret organization of people with supernatural abilities dedicated to maintaining order in the everyday chaos of Hellsalem's Lot.

However, this is only the beginning of Leonardo's unexpected journey ahead. Regardless of the constant threat of otherworldly enemies, he is determined to uncover the secrets of his power and find a way to restore his sister's eyesight. Kekkai Sensen & Beyond follows Leonardo as he sets off on more crazy adventures with his comrades, fighting to ensure peace and order.

this anime was banger for me how did I not watch this one untill this day?!
anywasy, the stor was (even tho it was character based) was smooth and enjoyable. but I didnt see much devolopment in the original story
art style is good and fun to watch.
characters are original, funny and many of them has pride in them.
the chaos is not unexpected, you can predict what is going to happen but still it is not that much that makes you feel bored.
and the main character. man he is growing... from the first season he was not that special even now he is not that special but ... his actions makes him good and makes you wanna watch him more.
this was it for the second season and I loved it till the end

Mixed Feelings

As the successor season to Kekkai Sensen itself, what has it tacked onto the series? A current continuation of events and although that is not it, it does make the series on a verge of losing momentum in this iteration of Kekkai Sensen. That is not all to be cracked up by viewers. We do see more into Leonardo's Watch's abilities along with other characters which does add more vibrancy in other areas of this anime.

What is more, is that we see a lack of convergence of some key points such as urban life for others but still a whole lot of action.

The rating tacked ... onto this review as a result is not too bad but not the most high since there is not a lot of new stuff add besides continuity and not only that, there has been a loss of momentum in the plotline.

This anime is probably one of the hardest things I've had to watch.

Story: I thought the story was fine until the last three episodes they were just huge misses for me.

Art: This seasons only redeeming factor is the blood arts. Leos eyes are also super nice looking.

Sound: They didn't mess up on sound.

Character: I think the mc's reason for not using his eyes is kind of bad. Zapp is hard to watch a most the time and b/c they're the most frequent characters.

Enjoyment: WHY? WHY did the three episodes have to be what they were. Don't have children if you're an assassin. Don't marry men ... that are 3-4 times your own age. <- My biggest gripe it was like a wrecking ball through the whole series.

Overall: His eyes are dope too bad he rarely uses them >:(
