Idolish7 and A3 are both anime with extremely charming characters and stories that will suck you right in. Both focus on the relationships between the male characters and their backstories, each of them overcoming their past and fears, helping each other out and uniting for their dreams. Why I this these 2 are more similar compared to the other anime in the same genre is the amount of depth and drama. There are many character tropes that very much overlap with each other. If you like the characters from idolish7, you will also love the characters from a3. The female lead in both are also  read more

Both anime are about acting and becoming an actor. In both series, each character has their own motivation to become an actor, and they work together to get better for the final performance.

Both anime are about a group of cute guys becoming friends and bonding over a special interest (sanrio/theater). Both anime have the theater element.

Anime about theater actors were rare nowadays. Luckily, these shows presented in all-male characters and all-female characters within their perspectives. Each characters designed to have their background story to be told that made them as an inspirations towards on the passion of acting.

A bunch of guys with eccentric personalities working together towards a specific goal. One anime is about football, the other about theater, but they share similar vibes. Anyone who likes cute 2D guys will likely enjoy both animes to some degree.

they come from different backgrounds, ages and professions, but they are dying to perform for the crowd. they have to start from scratch with a tiny agency and make their way to success.
