Shoujo--like all demographics--is incredibly varied, featuring a wide mix of stories, genres and themes. Its protagonists are no exception, with different personalities and backgrounds, and having both girls and guys in leading roles. I wanted to highlight some shoujo anime written from a male POV.

Also, I can't attest to the quality of the lower/more obscure series on here (especially since shoujo manga tend to receive pretty trash adaptations). So do keep that in mind.


And I should clarify that Cowboy Bebop and Code Geass are both actually original anime that simply have earlier shoujo manga versions. They both had promotional shoujo manga that began running a few months before their respective anime began airing.

We've seen it all, the famous WcDonald's showing up in Animes.
Sometimes it's even McDonalds itself or some kind of other Burger Joint looking suspiciously similar to some certain golden arches.

Also , i have not personally watched lot of these anime myself .. its just how weird the plot sounds like and from few clips i saw . But , there are few here that i have seen too .
