This is the kind of show you didn't know you needed. Perfect background show for whatever you're doing.

Typical of Isekai Treasure (Call me vanilla I love these shows 😂) the plot is always the same, the titles are an essay, and you forget them one week after the season's over.

*HOWEVER*

When you're working full time and trying to do a Master's degree, you don't have a ton of time. This is the type of show you can make your dinner to, fold laundry to and even work on assignments to because you can glance away for like 2-3 mins at a time and not miss anything ... with the occasional 10 second rewind because you heard a loud noise.

This is an anime of convenience and it gets a 7 for being so simple I can look away to be a responsible adult and come back and still know what's going on.

Don't let the low score of people who are starved of intense stimuli try to gaslight you into thinking that watching a certain Austrian Painter crochet a sweater would be more entertaining than this. It's worth a watch for the simple folk

Okay first things first, the anime adaptation is indeed ass. The animation quality is fall of seven deadly sins standard. So I'd recommend abandoning the anime and reading the manga, it's so much better, the characters are cleaner, the pacing makes more sense and you won't be constantly distracted by the choppy and distorted animation quality.

manga version 7/10 - by no means the best thing since coke and bubblegum but it is significantly more enjoyable.

Since the platform demands more details, it's a typical power fantasy where the mc was too strong everyone got scared then when ... he completely his objective and reincarnated he kept his busted skills and decided to hide them from his power hungry corrupt family so he'd get exiled and not have any responsibility. Only to end up saving the damsels in distress including that world's hero who is a tomboy that somehow can sense the strength of the mc despite lacking the common sense to prepare for any remotely difficult encounter believing she could overcome it with willpower alone. Like I said not the best story, the manga delivers it better and to be quite frank - a way that feels less repugnant. Without a doubt the people who adapted this show saw how good the manga did and figured it would be a good cash grab without thinking about the delivery of the various scene in the show leaving it as sub-par anime slop.

Read the manga, don't subject yourself to the anime

This anime isn't bad because it has a bad story; Rather, it's bad because of how it tells the story. The single season of "DekiSoko" consists of what I'd say are two separate arcs, each being exactly 6 episodes; Because of that, the story feels incredibly rushed.

The animation while not bad or overly simplistic lacks attention to detail; Specifically, in a scene depicting blacksmithing, the blacksmith simply pounds the same spot of an already sharpened sword it cuts to black and that's the end.

Overall, the anime is far from the worst, but if I had the option id ask that this series be remade, as ... I really do want to see this continue, just not with the same studio.
