I have amassed a repertoire of super binge-able shows which cannot be called "TRASH".
Ranked from Best to worst. The position matters.

There may be some gems not on this list.

This is the very pinnacle of the genre. Peak immersion.

I am exclusively keeping it to true reincarnation and true isekai, so gameworlds which allow them to return back fairly easily (SAO) won't be in this list. Reincarnation which can be reduced to advanced time-travel won't be here,(Redo, Returner's)

I summarize the series, so bad seasons will reduce the overall ranking of the series.

BUT WHERE? are the new 2024/2025 ones?
I exclusively bingewatch isekai. This means i have to make time and finish an entire season. The alternative of watching many different isekai weekly to maximize consumption is out of the question and quite frankly stupid if you have any justifiable desire to review them properly.

All shows here i have personally rated at least 7/10.
I cannot recommend any shows I rated 6/10 or below.

While 2022 and 2023 both gave us an outstanding amount of new and original anime, what will 2024 bring us? Fortunately I'm here to create a list of shows and movies that I believe will define this year for new anime. I have not read the sources for anything I'm listing, meaning no manga insights, light novel spoilers, or visual novel validations. Everything listed below is based on whether the entry synopsis, poster, or title intrigues me, or whether I know of something that has made me excited for this show.

Criteria:
- The entry has to be a newly airing franchise (specifically not a sequel/prequel season), remakes are fair game though.
- The entry has to start airing within 2024 (meaning Frieren is going to miss this list unfortunately).
- The entry has to end it's season/cour by the end of Winter 2025.
- The entry has to be listed on MAL.

This list was made before the start of the Winter 2024 season, and is a reflection of the shows that were announced to be airing at some point in 2024.

Anime that either start off slow to build up world and characters and then goes full steam ahead with NO breaks or anime that start off very fast paced with occasional small (few minutes, 1 episode max) breaks. These anime may have a high amount of gore and sometimes even character deaths.
