Trio of magical girls based on fairytales. 

Fairy tale-based magical girl series. 

Both features traditional trio red, blue and green, whose journey through a magical world in order to defeat enemies and save the rulers of the said magical world 

Both have Fairy tale characters in it, that know how to fight. 

Both draw a lot of inspiration from classic fairy tales. 

Same magical girl element , less main chars in CCS but a fan of this series should love CCS ^_^ 

OJA is a bit younger, but they're both about different worlds, and even go so far as to both have Elde as the name of one of the worlds, if you like this theme, you'll like both animes... not as much hotty hot hotty manness in OJA though ;P 

Both are heavily rooted in fairy tales. Akazukin has more action, but Tutu is more artful.
