The end of the world has always been one of the most fascinating settings in anime. Whether it is a ruined city overgrown with nature, empty wastelands full of danger, or societies barely hanging on, these stories take us to places where survival is never guaranteed. Post apocalyptic anime capture both the silence of destruction and the resilience of people who refuse to give up even when everything seems lost.

This stack brings together 50 anime that explore what comes after the fall. Some lean into action and chaos while others slow down to reflect on humanity and hope in the middle of ruin. Each one shows a different vision of how the world might end and how people choose to live on when it does. If you enjoy bleak settings, tough choices, and the strange beauty of worlds after collapse, then this list is for you.

A list of shows that I remember being very popular when I was little, that now seem to have been mostly forgotten by the public. Not everyone can be Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood or Monster.

Not necesarily good shows (I can't be objetive, I was like 10 when I watched most of them and others I only knew by name but never watched) but names that I still recall almost 20 years later.
