This stack will be tracking all of the new romance anime that releases this year. The new anime will be added as they release. (Doesn’t contain sequels only romance anime that started in 2025)

List of anime to watch if you are a fan of the Villainess or Villainess-adjacent genre!!

Most of the source material for these shows are romance fantasy manhwa or otome-isekai manga. Usually featuring any mix of reincarnation, royalty, nobility, otome games, and isekai as well as a (typically) girlboss main character.

The list is ordered into different sections:
1) Shows airing this season
2) Shows I watched in order of my personal level of enjoyment (best to worst)
3) Shows I dropped or haven't watched (the ones I dropped will be marked with an explanation of why, but just because it wasn't my cup of tea doesn't mean you won't like it!)
4) Shows that haven't aired yet

I will say, my favorite villainess/romance fantasy/otome-isekai manhwas have yet to receive their own anime adaptations, so if you really want to experience the best of the best, please explore rofan manhwas! But I hope this list helps you find more shows to watch!!

This one is for the 20+ girlies that sometimes find an anime, know is complete garbage, but its elevated garbage that let us reminisce about being 14 and reading smutty fantasy romance novels. these animes are not smutty for obvious reasons, but here, enjoy. I feel ashamed to like these animes, but I just had to create a stack when the count was not 1 anymore.
