These animes can make your mood better.

Anime to relax to, *mostly* featuring Iyashikei, CGDCT, Slice of life and minimal drama

"iyashi" (癒し) means healing, and the term "iyashikei" refers to anime and manga that "heal" the audience by instilling a calming feeling or evoking emotional carthasis. Almost always, Iyashikei stories have peaceful, somewhat mundane, and nostalgic atmospheres. The settings are idyllic with little or no conflict, and the narratives focus on personal reflection, heartwarming moments, a vague sense of melancholy, and/or an appreciation for the small things in life.

CGDCT - "Cute Girls Doing Cute Things"

Easy-going shows heavily rely on its music to portray its peaceful/mellow nature.

Laid-back anime set in a post-cataclysmic or otherwise dire setting.

Positive ecological futures.

"Solarpunk is a literary and artistic movement that envisions and works toward actualizing a sustainable future interconnected with nature and community. The "solar" represents solar energy as a renewable energy source and an optimistic vision of the future that rejects climate doomerism, while the "punk" refers to the countercultural, post-capitalist, and decolonial enthusiasm for creating such a future." Including both precursors like Studio Ghibli's work as well as current representative work of the genre.

Most of One Piece aired in the 2000s and 2010s.

Lots of Anime on MAL have the "Iyashikei" theme, but these are what I consider the actual best at being consistently wholesome.

Some anime series have such beautiful and sincere friendships that they are worth watching just for that. Let's look at them.

Anime Onegai was an exclusive platform in Latin America for anime that has been around since 2020 until it's closure on 2025, they dubbed a lot of series for the platform and now some selected titles are available in legal form.
