Tamon is the face and centre of the idol group F/ACE. He moved to Tokyo at 16 to audition as an idol with the dream of wishing to make people all over the world smile. While he's working as an idol, he is eccentric, confident and tries to make his fans happy by acting like a "sexy and wild" womaniser.
His personality drastically switches between being in "Hottiehara" idol heartthrob mode to his fans versus "Gloomyhara" low self-esteem mode in private. Tamon is often in a state of gloom, often feeling overwhelmed and 'not good enough', spinning into despair and listing all of the things he thinks he has done wrong or regrets. In addition to being gloomy, he also appears very anxious, with any slight mistake making him freak out and apologise copiously, demeaning himself, and/or diverting to suicidal ideation.
Despite this, his feelings towards being an idol and his fans are genuine. Utage discovers his true personality after being sent to work for him, and decides to stick to his side to support him. Tamon grows to value Utage and starts to become conscious of Utage's life; sometimes becoming possessive of her. He has an older brother, Daiki, who was his inspiration to pursue an idol career.
