Hot guys, hot kisses, hot sex. What more can you ask for? That club offers this, and allows others to get into this small community and talk with others on MAL that have the same interest. We'll be doing our roleplaying on a forum, which I'm not posting the link to right now because it's still not done, though work is going into it as I'm typing this. When it is finished, taking advantage of the mass-messaging feature, I'll send all of those that are a member of my club a link to the forum so things can begin. First you will have to create your character, of course, and then decide where he is going to live. There will be a hotspring, a school, a police station, and several other places. I'm trying to really make it seem like a normal little city/town to the best of my ability. And, even though we're in the midst of working on the forums, a link to the forum will be mass-messaged to everyone soon, so that character creation can begin. They also play a role in keeping things from getting too out of hand. ~Forum/RP Rules~ 1.) Keep swearing Out of Character (OOC) to a minimum. This is to keep this roleplay on friendly terms. We don't want to upset anybody. 2.) If a fighting scene occurs, DON'T play out the scene for the person you're roleplaying with. Examples: Bad : Jason punched Masion across the cheek and sent him flying straight through a brick wall as fragments of the hardened red blocks scattered throughout the area. Examples: Good : Masion ran towards Jason, arm pulled back and preparing to make a punch, ready to end this senseless fight here and now. And don't dodge every punch or kick that's thrown at your character. That makes things unrealistic and takes from the drama and meaning of even having a fight. Basically, don't play God. 3.) When an area has a side-character, unless a character is marked with an asterisk (*), you're free to play that character. Side characters can not be taken out of their designated areas, and are to be kept where they originally are. Examples: ~Side Characters~ *Nalani* ^Mikaru^ Takashi In this example, Mikaru and Takashi are free to play, but Nalani is only controllable by Kanashimi or myself. This is because certain side characters aren't randomly created characters and actually apply to the story line. This is to keep the story from deviating in a direction that messes up everything. Characters with asterisks can't be played by normal members, but others can. However, certain characters have specific personalities set out for them. You'll be able to tell who they are because of the bold ^ on either side of their name. For those characters, theres a section here on the general board that gives information on their personalities. So the basic keys for characters are: * : NPCs ^ : Set Personality Characters No set key: Freelance characters. 4.) When talking out of character(OOC), please use something that will let us know you're actually talking out of character. I use parenthases, basically : ( Hey, Kana-chan, let's talk on the phone later.) and Kanashimi uses OOC: Insert message here. We don't want to confuse your actual post with your conversations throughout the RP. And please make sure that if you want to add an OOC message, at the end of your reply post, press enter twice to add a space to leave room, so it'll be even easier to distinguish it from the story. 5.) Keep OOCing to a minimum. This is what PMs(Private Messages) are for. I don't want people holding lengthy conversations in between each post. It makes the RP lose its charm. If you want to talk back and forth to someone, please use the Private Messaging system. 6.) If you're about to do a Yaoi scene, please label before your post ~Yaoi Begin~ and when the sex scene is over, put ~Yaoi End~. This is to keep from mentally scarring any young girls that haven't quite gotten into the juicy wonders of yaoi <3 7.) Even though this is our own little BL wonderland, please treat it like a city in Japan, since it's where most of my characters originate. Kanashimi's as well. Though the city itself has no name, just call it Japan. There's no need to bust your brain learning Japanese traditions to fit in with the RP. Just have fun. 8.) No rushing the relationship. Make the two character's relationships developed realistically. If it's not, that's half the fun right there. So please, no one-week 'Oh, great. Let's have sex' moments. Kay ? Afterall, sex is best when it's between two wonderfully close boys. It's cuter that way.^_~ 9.)No flaming, please. We don't need fights started just because one person doesn't like what's going on or because a character seems unfair. I am the admin and if I deem a character as unfair, it won't be approved and the person will either have to change the character or put in a new one altogether. 10.) No spamming. Please. This is a roleplay. We don't need any spamming, unnecessary posts, etc. If you want a spam/game area, let me know and I can easily create one. But I honestly see no point since there's already a spamming section in the MAL forums. 11.) No one sentence posts. Please be descriptive to the best of your ability. We want to be able to see what's going on, feel the cold in the air, etc. Because we like detail. <3 At least Kana and I do. 12.) Please use proper punctuation. If you can't do that, then you will get a warning. This isn't a chatroom, this is a roleplaying forum, and it's expected to keep it that way. The RP is in story format, so no Seishin: Oh fuck this, I'm going home ::walks home:: kind of thing. Use quotation marks, commas, periods, etc. Minor mistakes will be let go, but if it becomes a constant thing, you will be sent a Private Message with a warning. And if things keep up, you will get a ban. 13.) Please roleplay in third person, ie. 'He strolled down the street as casually as a teenager could, hands in his pocket, eyes on the never ending concrete road beneath his feet.' Etc, etc. All that. ~Character Rules~ 1.) First and foremost, for control purposes, you're only allowed to have three characters per person. You'll have to get special permission from me or Kanashimi if you want to add another character to your list. Depending on how you've been roleplaying, and how you're doing on the forums, you may or may not be granted an extra character. It all depends on your actions on the board. 2.) You don't have to create three characters right off the bat. But each character has to be approved by Kanashimi or myself before he's to be used in the RP. And please, no complaints if they aren't accepted. We're trying to keep things under control here. 3.) Your character has to be male. If a female is involved in their past in any way and you bring them in temporarily, that's fine, but the profiles you put up have to be male. This IS a BL roleplay afterall. <3 4.) No elves, demons, angels, etc. Human beings ONLY. And no super-human wonderful 'Oh I can kick your ass with a flick of my finger' powers. Make it realistic, modern-day etc. Please. 5.) When a character is approved, you'll know because I'll put a bold 'APPROVED' at the very bottom of your profile after I've read it. If not, I'll make a comment similar to 'Change this, or that' or 'Add a little detail here or there'. As stated in the Character form, we need detail. So if one thing doesn't have enough detail, I'll ask to add a bit more, and if something seems too unrealistic, I'll ask that you take it off. We WILL be keeping a close eye on everything going on. So please, keep checking back to make sure there isn't something you might need to change. 6.) If you have a pre-planned couple with another member of the club, that's great. But if not, and you want your boy to end up with his/her character, please discuss it through PM please. Thank you.
