| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- No one really made a discussion thread? I am disappoint. All that training to learn Quick Attack and what he learned was...Double Team? Talk about coming out of the left field there. DT is pretty useful though in Pokemon battles in the anime so it's not a waste. I lol'd at Ash jumping in trees like that. And Eureka's ninja plays were cute, though where did Serena pull out all those costumes? The magic of hammerspace again. TR shows up after several episodes only to be blasted off again. So much for them being competent again. And obligatory Water Pulse looks like Rasengan, with that final attack being Oodama Rasengan. Decent episode. Next episode, a princess, a Pokeflute and a Snorlax. I think this is an in-game one, at least the Snorlax is as I remember there was one that's blocking the road. Dunno about the princess. We'll see. |

| So Keromatsu learns Double Team in the end with a still incomplete Quick Attack that lacks a bit of speed. Still Double Team is pretty useful especially for Pokemon that rely on speed. |

| It was hard not to think about Naruto in this episode. Keromatsu learned to gather chakra on his feet and create kage bushins. Finally, he and Gekogashira defeated Rocket Gang with a big rasengan! Eureka, Pikachu and Dedenne in their ninja outfit were cute |

| Elite Four Theme vs Team Rocket's mecha, that was priceless!!! On the other hand, learning Double Team was unexpected, but was nice nonetheless, it is a move that will come in handy. Also am I the only one to think we're going to meet this ninja again and his brothers at that too later on? |

| Hahaha. That was awesome. Naruto inspired moves. Water Pulse as Rasengan and Double Team as Kage Bunshin. I guess it works since Froakie and Frogadier are ninjas, and Naruto Shippuden and Pokemon XY are right beside each other on the Thursday timeslot. |

| Very Naruto like Pokemon XY episode. I really enjoyed it. It was nice to see Ash and Froakie lose, they will learn from this loss. It was great development I loved seeing Kage Bunshin No Jutsu (Double Team) and Rasengan (Water Pulse) lol. I'm glad Froakie learned Double Team it will be a good move to keep in his arsenal. Pokemon frog Ninjas + (Water Pulse) Rasengan and Kage Bunshin (Double Team) = Naruto edition Pokemon episode lol. |
| Lol, I agree with that. He has been training for what, 17 years now? and he's still the same age after going to lots of different regions and still can't be everyone, which he really should beat able to by now, at least people the same age lol. |

This was an incredible episode. Its been a long time since I've seen one of these training episodes in Pokemon and I personally love seeing montage-esk things as it reminds me of me training my pokemon and the love, care, and devotion it takes to do so. Its been noted that X/Y is taking the evolving of the pokemon slow and allowing them to be thoroughly trained up like this, which I welcome with open arms since it can only bring more episodes like this! |

| Holy crap! An actual battle against a trainer before arriving to the next city. Satoshi remembers he wants to become a Pokemon Master. Sanpei is a better ninja than Naruto. Thought they'd battle again with Satoshi winning. Guess not. |

| You know it bothers me every time that Citron just made a huge ass machine out of nowhere and Serena quilt costumes out of nowhere. It also bothers me that Team Rocket have all the funds in the world to make a huge ass machine that won't survive 10 minutes within a few hours of their plan. While Ash's Keromatsu is training from Gekogashira, Citron is training to fail like Team Rocket when he fails again. Also how the fuck did Ash jumped trees to trees. The fuck. He didn't put his hands behind his back! |
