Nice Hayami is awake in the end <3

Unfortunately, the romance I felt between him and the girl is a bit vague. Overall, a decent manga but really lacked plot progress in terms of character relationship building. 6/10. Still, not bad though.

I thought so too, I didn't feel affected at all by the drama, some stories were nice but overall it just felt like a very naive shoujo about ghost and love.

So yeah it was pretty bad, every chara felt so bland, seriously who cared about the girl who went into their home ? I don't even remember her background...

And why do we never see again characters that are supposed to be seen again ?

Even if they were useless, most of them were part of the class but everytime a character's arc was finished we nearly never saw them again.

rip sensei who didn't get any moment past the second part of this manga.

I'll rate it 3/10 I guess.

Hmm. It's a happy ending. There was a moment when I thought Hotate and Hayami were going to move on to the afterlife together but that would've been a shock. I still don't see the romance between Hotate and Hayami. I get that they're kids but I don't think it needed to be a romance at all. Can't they still care about each other without it being romantic?

So did Zanjirou know what was going to happen to Hotate? How on earth??

@Nuage I have to agree. I didn't really feel affected by the drama either and I'm trying to figure out why. I do think a big part of it is because there were so many little stories about Hotate helping a ghost and then never seeing them again. Sorta like episodic shows where each one focuses on a case and then moves on so there's no continuation or relevance to it later.

It's a shame. I did like it to start with it. Hotate is a very likeable child and her dad seems cool but I wish there was either more there or it stuck to being an episodic manga where every chapter or so focused on a different ghost story rather than trying to do both. The mystery of Hotate not having parents and having supernatural powers was intriguing at first but it was all solved relatively quickly. The only issue was that some parents were upset but they were bribed with veg and it was over immediately.
