| Well that sure started off quite direct as a follow up on the previous season! Pretty nice, but after a couple years a small recap might have been great though ;p Either way quite liked this first episode of the second season and I'm looking forward to see what this has to offer in terms of a story! |

| I honestly don't remember much of what happened since I finished Fairy Tail so many years ago before picking up this 2014 continuation LOL. I vaguely remember what happened in the manga. Like the part with the Jade Dragon-- remembered that. And who the girl in the cloak is and what she's here for, but other than that-- nada :P All the fluff in between, no idea xD Too lazy to rewatch the end of the first series doe >< so hopefully I can get by with just fuzz in my memories and piece it together anyways as I go lmao The ending song is lovely, I must say <3 |
| I don't know where to start that was magnificent, from ancient history to present everything was explained very well, and Jiema is dead right, and what's best that this season has blood yay. Lector is gone as well I feel kinda sorry for him. And Acnologia is a human what! |

| Incredible episode! I was left aghast when the Sabertooth master blew up Lector; I would never have imagined such a turn. And Sting blowing a hole through him too! This was insane. And after that dramatic turn of events, we get a major infodump in the dragon cave... truly an insane episode, front to back. I love the new OP too. I don't remember any of the old Fairy Tail OPs, but I don't remember enjoying any of them as much as I enjoy this one. |

| Wow the art style has really changed! Everyone looks much clearer now :) also the animation has finally improved from 2009 FT and also HOLY SHIT WENDY HAS PURPLE HAIR??! I thought her hair was blue T_T |

| Damn the show looks much better, the most noticeable upgrade to me was Natsu's flames which looked outright shitty before. Let's see if this one can improve on the already fantastic FT 2009 |

| Continuing from the grand magic games arc itself, this first episode was a good follow through of that cliffhanger we were left on last time. Some very noticeable difference in animation too, looking better now. Also no wonder the edgy duo got the same treatment as that girl after losing pathetically against Natsu in their match. Let's see how long will it take them to become buddy-buddy with the fairy tail-ers. Again good start though, OP too is as good as always. |
