Is the second season only 12 episodes?

I read somewhere that it would be split between Spring and Fall of 2014. Are they taking a break after the 12 episodes for a month or two and then re-airing the rest in Fall or is it just 12 episodes in total?

It's called split cour, it airs for a cour(roughly three months) and then takes a break for a cour(another three months) then airs. So it skips a season in between.
