| wow, after all that anticipation of Asuka ass-kickery, Sadamoto onyl delivered 10 pages this month--it reminded me of the good old days when Hirano got lazy with Hellsing. so far the past couple of chapters followed EoE tooth and nail except for the Gendo scenario. I'm hoping that Sadamoto's version of events will be much less brutal to Asuka. D: |

| So, Asuka starts to fight back against JSSDF forces. Like in EoE, she proclaims she doesn't want to die and realizes that her mother has always been protecting her as Unit 02. In EoE there was some, to put it mildly, shocking imagery in this sequence that wasn't carried over. Admittedly this was a change I did not care for. I wonder if hearing Asuka is okay and fighting will knock Shinji out of his funk. |
