| Like a lot of popular LN franchise, the more time passes, the cooler the illustration get. Lately, mondaiji's illustrations are epic. That shot with the 4 main characters is on a completely different level as to what they looked like 10 volumes ago. Especially Yô and Izayoi, but even KuroUsagi has a slightly different design lately. Yô's design has evolved so much that people who only watched the anime will soon not even be able to recognize her. So much epicness. She's my favorite character in this series right from the first volume, so I'm really happy to see her evolving so much. I knew she had much more potential than the other on that point. After that epic garuda transformation last time, I wonder what it is this time. Judging by the look of it, it looks like a mythical beast who both can swim and fly I'd say... No idea what this is. Anyway, won't be able to read it before december, but looking forward to it, definitely. |
