Though he doesn't necessarily like being alone, he often finds that he acts best in situations away from the prying eyes of others. Furthermore, he finds comfort when being together with another being, but this does not necessarily mean being together with people. In fact, he often finds being in the company of humans irritating and will therefore seek company with animals. However, despite Stein's outwardly bright personality, some of this can be highly questionable at time. For example, though he appears to be very honest and trustworthy, he openly declares his appreciation for anything that contains blades such as swords, daggers, razors and even scissors. However, contrary to the weariness that some can often regard him with, he is a peace-loving individual and would hardly harm a fly without solid reasonings. He possesses many short-term friends, but those who can achieve his trust and loyalty are those he will stand by no matter the adversities. Stein possesses three such life-long friends, all which are unfortunately dead, leaving him to be unwilling to trust as easily. Despite his optimism, he does possess an inner pessimist which grows stronger for every loss he makes. He fears his inner pessimism and it is for this reason that he desires the company of any other living being in order to quench it. However, despite his efforts, his dark side grows stronger every day and he is desperately searches for a comfort that can impede it. Bio: Germany was no longer a safe place for humans and though this was the same for every other country across the globe, their status was particularly infected and the public hurriedly tried to escape to other countries. As a German descendent and Stein came to Japan with his family three years ago. However, upon arrival, the plane's passengers were assaulted by a group of undead and the surviving numbers were unknown. During the fray, Stein had been separated from his parents and twin sister. Not knowing whether or not the rest of his family survived that day, he is constantly searching for them in hope of finding them. Now, he is constantly moving from place to place, never stopping for too long. Though for the past three years he hasn't found any proof that anyone for his family is alive, he hasn't any proof that they're dead either and he operates under this sole desire to find proof of their status. One year ago, he met Hotaru. At the time, Hotaru had only been a small cat and had struggled to evade the onslaught of undead. When she had met Stein, she had been severely injured whilst trying to escape from the undead and Stein had taken her in, nursing her back to health. However, even after she was fully healed, she had taken an liking to Stein and now follows him everywhere. Now to present day, it turns out Hotaru isn't just simply a cat and was actually a panther. How a panther came to find its way into Japan is unknown, but it is highly likely that she escaped from a zoo as it seems implausible that she was raised in the wild. | Name: Allen/Hansel Age: 11 Gender: Male Likes: Not being alone/people leaving him alone, animals/messing with people, Things his mom said were good for him/Candy and treats. Personality: Allen as grown a split personality after watching his parents being eaten in front of him to cope with this world and help him survive, Allen is kind, loving, a little cowardly, giving and generally a good person/Hansel is cruel, mischievous, daring, greedy and in all only cares about his own survival. Bio: Allen was a very happy kid even given the situation he was in, he had his parents, older brother and friends back in his stronghold (same one Drache was in) there was an older boy there that was friends with his brother who would always play with him even if the other kids seemed to think him weird for being so happy all the time but that's all he needed in life. One day though the whole stronghold broke out in a fight that forced his parents and him to leave getting separated from his older brother in the process, they got by for a while but after having a run in with the organization his parents had almost nothing left to defend themselves, this didn't stop them from trying to get by but when the zombies broke into their little hideout all his mother could do while his father held them off was get Allen into a safe place telling him not to watch, to stay hidden tell the zombies left and to find his brother, they were eaten right in front of his eyes and he could do nothing to stop it. Once it was all over he couldn't move out of fear and that fear forced him to make someone who could live in such a world that had taken everything from him and thus Hansel was born, he got him out of there using only his Dad's combat knife while holding onto his Mom's medical satchel (all that he has to remember them by). Hansel didn't stop there though using the boy's size and innocence to lure people into traps to loot them of their goods, after Hansel killed someone who was kind to him during one of these traps however Allen came back desperately trying to regain control over his mind he forgot all about the incidents but Hansel remains in his mind always trying to influence him. Lost, confused and alone he's trying to find a safe place in this world and his brother but Hansel is always waiting for when things get to tough for Allen so he can pop out and have his fun again. Equipment: Combat knife (Fathers) Medical bag (Mothers) with some first aid supplies, 9mm pocket pistol with 7 round capacity and 6 clips, a Hatchet (has Hansel written on it) and a Backpack with various things to make traps (also has Hansel written on it). On that day that the fighting broke out though he had no plan to escape or get back to his family when he was over at Drache's place and by the time he made it back to where he lived his parents and little brother had already left, he made it out of there hoping that one day he would find them but that was a few years ago now and he had to learn that not everything in those book he read would help him as much as he thought. He was able to get by mainly due to having taken several weapons with him when he escaped that he had hidden just in case and has spent the last few years searching for survivors from his stronghold to help him find his family.
