| A pretty good ending. I liked all the characters in this and the way the story developed buuuuuuut... I just don't feel super comfortable with the Mao x Hiro romance. The 7 years wouldn't matter if she was a lot older but she's a vulnerable 17 year old, not an adult. I just couldn't get invested in the romance at all and that kind of ruins this manga for me. Still, I do like Mao and the way she grew over the course of the manga. |
| That proposal was so full of Mao and Hiro energy and I wouldn't have it any other way. This was such an adorable story and definitely one of my new favorite childhood friend couples ever. Mao being such an absolute ...Mao did a lot of the heavy lifting lmao |
