Overrated anime

Curious to see what anime you guys think is praised to highly or is too popular!

I really dislike Gurren Lagann. It was very very boring for me to watch and I had to tap out of the series by the 3rd or 4th episode because I didn't like the premise or the story line and wasn't particularity fond of the characters either. I've read reviews on it arguing that the appeal comes from the characters attitude that they can laugh in the face of danger and always find a way to come out on top. I love that but not on it's own.

Angel beats I enjoyed but really couldn't understand how it's the 7th most popular lol

Sword art was good but I think they let go of the most interesting factor of the show, that a bunch of people got trapped inside of a video game and was really disappointed whenever it ended before they could make it to floor 100. I honestly believe Log Horizon had a better execution of the premise and was more interesting.

I think Attack on Titan is over hyped as well. It was really interesting at first for me but after maybe the first 7 or 8 episodes I felt the series slow down and get a little boring.

Let me know if you guys disagree or agree with what I've said. I'm really curious to see what other people think! and of course let me know what anime you think is overrated :D
