| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Wow. He survived somehow. I already prepared my heart for a tragic ending but I'm glad the author still chose a happy ending.Well kinda forced but still. . I felt like watching a Korean drama because some characters are stereotype that very common in k-drama. Lol I liked all the characters except that evil president. I would deduct my rating with 3 points if he ended up with Sori. I know he wasn't a truly a bad guy but he's just unlikeable. I don't why his Secretary is in love with that jerk. 911 boy you lucky bastard, he got married with a younger woman. Sori and Leon Soo's daughter is so cute. <3 |
| Why is this forum so inactive and why is there only post in the final chapter discussion?! I expected this series to be like Koe no Katachi popular? wtf Alright, so I have mixed feels for this series. Ugh, okay, so I adored it from the start with all the heartbreaking and touching moments like when Sori got the mother in law's approval and they had a moment, or when the Emergency 911 Truck guy reminisced about his dead mother. It was SO well done. Like props. This series was difficult to stomach and finish. I'm gonna talk about two superficial things that I took off points for: 1. Korean SFX. It ticks me off when they use "HYUK HYUK" and "EU EU!" It honestly sounds like nonsense. At least normal SFX make sense. 2. Art style. I really dislike how Sori was drawn like an innocent 10 year old. And the art is lazy. Very lazy. I understand it is a webtoon but JESUS, I've read other web cartoons where you can see effort being put into the art, like Annarasumanara or Orange Marmalade. Things I disliked that have reasons to back it up: 1. Sori. I understand she is deaf but that does not excuse her autistic/childish behaviour. She resorts to violence when she is angry and that is NOT okay. She hits her husband when he does something she dislikes. Ugh. And her dumb sound effects. Don't even get me started. 2. Side characters such as The Devil and The Editor. I can't even remember their names but they are PATHETIC. I found that also as a PRO but on the most part, I found theme extremely unlikable and TYPICAL. "oH i love her SO SHE SHOULD BE MINE MWAHAHA" and "HE DOESNT DESERVE THAT DEAF BITCH!!! I WILL TAKE HIS HEART" jesus christ at least make it more interesting. I don't understand how everyone turned into a good guy in the end. There was no development for The Devil to turn into a good person. At all. The Editor doesn't deserve someone as awesome as The Emergency Guy. 3. The drama never ends. How the fuck is this slice of life? Sure, for the first few chapters but then it just got into this huge mess of villains vs good guys and tryin' break them apart. 4. Comedy out of place. That's all. Chibi not necessary. This series is not light hearted. It's trying to be serious, but it's hard with that lame comedy. Things I liked!! LET'S GO 1. The Emergency Guy: YOU ARE THE REAL MVP. He was the character I really was rooting. Simple minded, but cute and honest. 2. Like I said before, touching moments are done VERY WELL. The ending too, it was very rushed but the dramatic amounts and intensity were on fleek. 3. The interesting direction in the beginning where they flash between flashbacks and "present" time scenes. 4. Oppa's last story. Touching. Ugly art, which was understandable, yet so amazing. 5. The love portrayed. I'm not a HUGE fan of purely platonic love. It's not realistic to me. But I really liked seeing the love between Sori and Oppa. 7/10 yeeee |
| Hmm, didnt really like the ending, think it wouldve been alot better if he actually did die on that bench that day... even seeing him again (still blind) isnt that "heartwarming" because i mean 7 years later and his daughter was like 5 and he was at that hospital for that long? seems like a bittersweet ending to me... or more of a forced good ending, still glad i read it, everything until chapter 82 was awesome!! 8/10 |

| There are some things I didn't like in this manhwa (the drama, the characters and some things you guys pointed out). He somehow survived, yes somehow. I'm fine with him dying though. I felt like it's such a waste with all those build-ups for his death. Anw, t'was a satisfying ending for me. |

| I thought he was going to die and was fine with it if he did. But this was still a decent ending. |
