so ye they outsource it to Toei Philippines for cheap production especially the Key Animation even though Dragonball is a mainstream show

Toei Philippines is also the animator of One Piece and Saint Seiya Omega that has below average animation as well

if Toei cares at all they should just make Toei Philippines stick to digital painting jobs and in-between animation jobs and just let the Toei Japan handle the key animation jobs

im a filipino myself but judging from this works we are not ready for being key animators so filipino animators should stick to being in-between animators for now

To be fair everything looks horrible not only episode 5. But yeah 5 sucked the most

Toei sucks so I dont even blame the philippines toei crew.

But yeah out sourcing to South East Asia really is cheap they should stick to making their own or let Korea do it like a lot of anime companies since they are more experienced

Maybe, I don't know. But it's clear the people in charge of the project - the decision makers - decided they would rather save the money (possibly put it into their own pockets) instead of put it into DBS production.

@above video, those vegeta and whis scenes are the best.

i do not have any info about Mysterious Girlfriend X been made here in the Philippines, but if they did it might be just the in-between animation thats for sure

the problem with Toei Philippines produced anime is that they also do the Key Animations

and ye Toei sucks or the management sucks imho

dude its right there on the first post, the AnimeNewsNetwork link i provided said Toei Phililippines is responsible for Key Animation too on some episodes

AnimeNewsNetwork got that info from the translating the credits on the opening and ending music videos each episode
