| Some backstory of young Ayato having a lot of power, with his older sister advising him about how his powers could end up hurting himself and others, with his sister working to protect him. Ayato also wishes to protect her sister as well, potentially being one of the things he is supposed to do. Ayato saving the day for Julis by trying to greet Lester nicely all while Lester, with his axe in hand, is desperate to try and duel Julis so she can acknowledge his abilities. With Eishiro wanting to record the interaction, Lester's friend tells him to not push things further. Wow, Julis has no friends at all, despite how she looks like the type of woman to have a fanclub, she's not only a quick fighter and a Page One fighter, but also very attractive. She's got high standards for partners, wants a noble, quick, and strong willed Page One fighter. Pretty wholesome and cute that Julis laughed at Ayato's question of finding the boys dorm; Ayato is just trying to not repeat what he did previously, and still hasn't had the chance to get familiar with the layout of the academy. Julis accepts Ayato's request of having her do anything for him, which is showing him around the academy and the city. Ayato is a cool and nice guy so far with Julis slowing warming up and talking with him. New character, Saya, an old friend of Ayato, and she is a kuudere with emotionless faces. The thumbs up toward Eishiro was funny, "well-put Yabuki." Already some conflict between Julis and Saya over who will show Ayato around the academy, only for Claudia to barge in, truly where did she come from, a vixen (quarrelsome) girl indeed according to Julis. Some guys in black robes attempting to ambush Julis and Saya in a park near some fountain, and Saya with that large grenade launcher, nice mega weapon. As the Disciplinary Committee investigates, Ayato checks in for his compatibility test for the Ser Veresta, and look at that its Lester again, this time trying his hands on the weapon. However, it resists his control and blasts him away from it multiple times, then Ayato takes control of it takes it home, with 97% compatibility rate, the Ogre Lux supposedly used by his sister. And what is Claudia up to, inviting him to her place for some favor? Kind of a strange transition |
