what happens with rory?

Just finished both seasons, just wondering what happens to Rory when she ascends. Does her body disappear or anything. I read the wikia apparently she wants to spend her last 40 years with Itami till she loses emotions. So if she does ascend does she keep them and can she still keep a physical form.

She said once ascended she becomes a god IIRC. I think her emotions consciousness remain, but the same cannot be said for her physical body
