Title: Clashing Feelings Oneshot Manga (The Beginning of a New School Year)
Genre: Comedy, School
Synopsis: Tarou and Sachiko have known each other for a long time, but if you think they are childhood friends you are mistaken! They are childhood enemies/rivals. They couldn't be more disappointed to find out that they are again in the same class, the 8-2. Tarou cooks up a scheme to annoy Sachiko, but he has no idea how much trouble he is getting into because of that. This oneshot manga drawn by Pete adapts the first chapter of the light novel.
Cover: Ummm, actually first page of the Japanese version. In Japanese everything looks cooler xP
Characters Information:
Yamada Sachiko (Sacchan) – Sachiko is an energetic middle school (8th grade / second year of middle school) girl and a real tomboy. She attends the same class as Tarou, with whom she has been classmates since elementary school. She is excellent at P.E. and also very good at academics with the exception of Math and English. She is more mature than Tarou, but can also be very childish when playing along with Tarou’s provocations and challenges. She does not even know or remembers why hostilities with Tarou began. She simply hates to lose. She somewhat likes videogames and is quite skilled at them. She’s in the volleyball club and because of that she wears sports wristbands all the time. She has short hair and usually uses short twin-tails on the lower part of her head and she usually uses a digital wrist watch on her left wrist. She’s not that tall, but she’s far from being the shortest girl of the class. But despite being a tomboy, she uses feminine “I” (“atashi” not “boku”).
Sawada Tarou (Takkun) – Tarou is a typical middle school (8th grade / second year of middle school) boy with spiky hair and he is crazy about videogames and “Gunpan” plastic models. He has a long story with childhood rival Sacchan, a girl he can’t simply get along with. Despite the rough personality and overall dislike for girls, he is also a caring person. He is very good at P.E. but also good at academics, especially Math but bad at English and Classic Japanese. In the beginning, he was in the “go home club” (no club). For some reason, even though he is not dishonest, he is known in the school as “Usotsuki no Tarou” (Tarou the Liar) and that makes him mad. He’s a bit short and almost all of his male classmates are taller than him but in the end he has almost the same height as Sachiko.
Number of Chapters/Volumes: 1 chapter (16 pages)
