| I like this anime, but this is one thing I could never understand after watching the first episode. When she moves in with Naoki's family, his brother asks her some fourth-grade Japanese questions and she gets them all wrong. I don't know Japanese myself, but if she is a high school student, how could she not know any of the answers to his homework questions? It's one thing to have a bad memory but Kotoko at times just came off as being challenged during her high school years. |
| I don't know if learning disabilities are a thing in Japan. At least not in animes. |

| Watched the first episode and my conclusion is....... SHE'S F**KING STUPID!! And nothing is going to change that. The difference between her and us real life people is that we learn, we grow, and we (eventually) get smarter. On the other hand, she CAN'T LEARN, CAN'T GROW, AND DOES NOT GET SMARTER! All because her brain is encased in a thing called, plot armor. Plot armor keeps her from becoming an intelligent being, cause if she was smart we wouldn't have an interesting story. This story is f**king hil-arious by the way. |
