| Its a 1-hour special airing December 30 but with only 22 minutes. The rest will be a documentary and an apology from the creator, Takashi Murakami. ''On Murakami's Instagram account, he explained that the anime will air the first episode in an incomplete state with only the line art for the key animation and background layouts. The episode itself will only run for 22 minutes, with the rest of the hour dedicated to a documentary of the anime's creation, and an apology for the incomplete episode. He further noted in the Instagram post that 140 background cuts in the episode remain unfinished, and the internal deadline for delivering the backgrounds to him was on Thursday. The deadline for the episode's delivery to the TV station is on Sunday. Seven minutes of CG "fusion cuts" could not be made on time. | I was looking forward for a long time, but I am not to surprised if making a anime and making expectations is not easy. Probably better than nothing. :( I like his works and direction too. (Making animu is hard business, man.) |

| So it will be 3 episodes x 48 minutes? I guess as a longer show it should be one episode a month, but judging by their budget issues I don't even know if they'll be able to manage that schedule. |
