| I didn't watch manga and only watch anime. I am confused about his background. What is his job before the appearance of "Gate"? If his job before "Gate" is not an army related, does that mean he directly given a promotion into army rank after the incident of "Gate"? Also, how do the Ranger and Special Force work? For Ranger, it seems that he actually trained himself for the title but what about Sepcial Force? In anime, it talks about something related to "ant", does that mean he didn't trained himself for this title but because of extra slot for him? |
