| Why did Tadatsuru Teori's doll have to be killed for him to prepare to resurrect Koyomi? He was already dead, why not just tell him? |

| Gaen's plan was two-fold: 1) orchestrate his death to separate Ononoki from Araragi--they wanted to have him see her as a monster, scaring him away from the supernatural so he could live his life as a normal human (didn't quite work out that way since she ended living with him anyways, but she's like a bodyguard of sorts so it's fine) 2) have him killed to send him to hell so that he could make the proper preparations necessary so that when Araragi is resurrected, he is brought back to life as a full human (without his vampirism). I'm not 100% certain, but I'm assuming that even though he's already dead, he's just possessing his puppets and those need to be "killed off" in order for him to go back to hell (not entirely sure; just a guess). They don't really explain the logistics of his abilities |

Also, I don't understand why Araragi had to lose his vampirism in the first place. Couldn't he have defeated Ougi even without that? He only needed to say her identity... |
