o damn. i can feel people saying "the art style is unique". smh
thats not how u do a horror story dudes and duddets.

Agreed. Junji Ito's stories are horrific because of his unique visual style, so the best way a studio could hope to translate his genius is by adopting more unconventional and expressive visuals during climactic moments, similar maybe to Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu. Judging from the PV, this hasn't really happened. The art style of the anime appears more realistic and "normal". Nevertheless, it could prove to be good, and I pray it will.

I don't know what the hell you're talking about or what you were listening to, but it's clear you have no idea what good or bad voice acting is and are just speaking from your ass. Listen to Tomie speaking, it sounds perfectly fine. Even if it was off, did you ever think that maybe it's *supposed* to sound off and unnatural? Cause, I dunno, it's a *horror* anime? I'm sure these professional VA's have a much better understanding of their capabilities and credibility than some randie does.

You would be wrong about that. It's your weeb filter that makes you think it's good, as a loser otaku anything from japan is good, you watch disney movies with japanese dubs. You clearly don't know what you are talking about.

A human chair episode would be technically easy to animate since there's no supernatural element.
Also, the story has the potential to make it possible.

And still, Bill will live on.
He will befriend the next inhabitants of the earth, beings of light who revere him as a god.
And Bill will outlive them all... for millions and millions of years...exploring, learning, living,
until the earth is swallowed beneath his feet.
Until the sun is long since gone.
Until time loses all meaning and the moment comes that he knows only the positions of the stars
and sees them whether his eyes are closed or open.
Until he forgets his name and the place where he'd once come from.
He lives and he lives until all of the lights go out.
