| The salt this series is getting is hilarious, everyone needs to chill lmfao. Just because someone made a post on how this series is getting 10's before it airs, doesn't mean the salty MAL dickheads get to play second fiddle. If you care so much about MAL ratings you should really start reconsidering, you might as well become a MAL supporter. I love Gintama but I don't agree with all the 10's this series gets, however that doesn't mean people should flood it with 1's either, you're practically contradicting yourself. I'm pretty sure most of the 10's are to piss you type of people off anyways. If you're so against Gintama getting #1 on the boards, skip it, it's 1 series of the fall you can skip, IDGAF, just stop bitching please, both the Gintama and MAL fanbase. Aside from that, the first episode was great, I love this arc. Umibozu is fuckin hilarious and the OP and ED are pretty good, not the best compared to the previous though. |

A lot of haters (1/10 scores), legion of sick fanboys (10/10 when show wasnt even aired yet), - these are the consequences of Gintama's extreme popularity. |

I guarantee almost none of the one's are even legit. It's either: They dropped the show at a previous point, and are just downvoting everything after that point. Or they've never watched any Gintama at all. I highly doubt anyone has watched every other season, thought they were all 1's, and is STILL watching it now. No one would watch 300+ episodes of something they hate that much. |

Cuz only the fanatics give a fuck about MAL's shitty top lists (I dont speak of the normal fans that just watch their favorite show and have fun). The same fanatics use downvoting to drop the shows their hate, and upvoting to boost their favorite shows. Therefore this situation was stupid from the very beginning. The show literally JUST came back today and already there are like 5 different threads of people arguing about the 10/10s and 1/10s. @Angelz_3 said it best, and that's the mindset that I wish everyone had. Unfortunately, that requires common sense, which isn't so common nowadays. |
