Everything is so light-hearted that it makes me feel as if there is no real danger. I've given this show so many chances (stayed with it till ep 47) but I am finally done with it. Such a waste of a good franchise. What an idiotic thing to say. This arc was never about a threat. Shikadai's character is a thinking and a moral one, hence the tone of the story and the lack of fights in this arc. Gekko isn't supposed to be a big villain it was emphasized because you never see him in action. It was all about fleshing out Shikadai, which they did. People have this expectation for fights but this was all about story from the beginning. Your loss. |

| This was probably the worst, uhh, arc(???) yet.. I didn't mind the whole Byakuya Gang thingy, but the whole ordeal with Ryogi was just a bit too cringe for me. This is a cliche that I'm not a fan of, the whole "I know I'm wrong but even so, I'm still going to continue doing it anyways" and then they need someone to finally knock some sense (literally) into them.. that's just too cringe for me. I understand that he was under genjutsu, but that was moreso prevalent in this episode where he didn't really have much control over himself. |

But she came back like ain't shit happened. But they really put Ryogi who at his worst only committed non-violent offenses like robbery, all while being manipulated, in jail... Their justice system is mind boggling. THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS I WAS THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING!!! I cannot believe they would just put Ryogi in jail when he was BRAINWASHED into helping his parent KILLER LIKE ??????? And Sumire who almost destroyed the village got off with no consequences? Talk about a broke system...JUSTICE FOR RYOGI...let him join the genins...hes so strong he has so much potential... |
