| Hi, all! I have one question about this series that I cannot figure out: What is the deal with Teiichi's glasses? In a few scenes Teiichi is shown wearing glasses, notably: - The "boku no hanashi" narration part that appears at the beginning of episode 2 and reprises near the end of episode 12. - The final still picture of him and Yuuko at the end of episode 12. - One scene in the OVA at around 19 minutes in. - Maybe more places that I did not notice. At first, when I noticed it in the narration part of episode 12, I thought it was a flash-forward to an older Teiichi recounting his childhood. But the twist ending seems to contradict that. (It seems that his words at that point are actually his thoughts before Yuuko reappears and not some future musings.) What do you think? Is there any significance to these glasses that occasionally pop in? |
