Probably never tbh. Just read the manga if you really liked it, it's finished and I am pretty sure the chapters are readily available on the internet in English.

Very unlikely, and it’s honestly depressing too, it was a great show and manga, but considering how the manga started to pan out near later arcs, things got convoluted and complicated in a hurry, which may explain why, but I wish someone would try and pick up where they left off one day

The manga sold 227k per volume, which is not good enough to make more than 2 seasons of the anime. And of course, the manga has also ended. So no, a third season will never happen. And after reading some spoilers about how the manga ends, I'm glad it didn't get more seasons, as the ending would've pissed me off.
