It felt like yesterday that I started following this, woah. It's pretty funny how the NU ranked Ultra Beast is the one that made the most chaos, this arc looks super interesting. |

| This episode was pretty cool! I wish I could take in nature's majesty and power in a place like that too. Zeraora is so cool too! And that Akujiking is definitely nightmare stuff. | Toto, I don't think we're in Alola anymore. Well, that happened. Ash clashed thunderbolt and BOOM! Multiverse. I have to say, this was a more mature and interesting episode exploring the world of the Ultra Ruins. We even get to meet Guzzlord, the fabled glutton of old, and this world even has an Ultra Defense force, who suck in their jobs. Though Zeraora being in the episode was a part of MARKETING, it was implemented really well. So, good on you writers, you pleased the marketing dept. and the viewers. There was also a setup in the opening of the episode surrounding the harmony of life and nature, and why the Z ring won't work in the Ultra Ruins. The games didn't do that nerf so that's another plus in my book. Also am I the only one who feels sorry for all the people in the flashback? When Guzzlord came to their world, it was out of nowhere and it was a disaster. Notice how the cap that Dia's wearing is the same one that the kid with the Litten was wearing. We know where the cap came from, but we need not ask how it got there and why. And speaking of Dia, his character was a breath of fresh air, in a smoky, grim kind of way. A former Ultra Ranger who stayed behind while everyone, including his team, left. Pretty sad honestly, having your friends leave you while you try to fight the good fight. Next episode, the epic conclusion of the Guzzlord arc. |

| The concept of Dia is quite new for Pokemon, it's the Future Trunks of the series actually xD I find it surprising though, this season has some of those moments you would never expect in Pokemon lol |

| ELSEWORLD ON POKEMON I've little behind marathon sun/moon and skipping to watch this episode. zearora more badass on movie, but dia character is really good. hope he can visit Earth-1 (satoshi's aloha) and met gladio. |

| So Tapu Koko is caught spying on Ash again and uses the opportunity to send him to a post-apocalyptic world with Guzzlord (I'm guessing that an Ultra Wormhole opened right in the middle of that electric collision?). Interesting dark change of pace compared to the slice-of-life normal. I like that we finally get to see Zeraora in action outside of the movie, and hopefully this mini-arc can elaborate on the mysteries of Guzzlord's world in the games. |
