| remember the days when Tg anime was touted to be on par with AoT !! Very sad, everything went downhill after the initial installement.I got a bit of enjoyment from re S1 but apart from that everything turned obscure and the art is atrocious. The top quality bgms are its saving grace .Happy to see Toka and Kaneki having their future together. 5/10 |

this was probably the most garbage adaptation i've ever witnessed so far. the manga wasn't even good in the first place, but to butcher it that hard is just unbelievable
first season had a steady pace, but it would've taken them 3 to 4 seasons to fully adapt with that pace, so they just said "fuck it, we'll just finish that shit in one season" and thus this abomination was born
