Just witnessed Oregairu having third season after 3 years, the fact that Rezero is still having its character being made, does that mean there’s a chance of s2 for my boi Subaru.

It depends on whether or not the author wants there to be a second season. Recently many shows are getting new seasons announced so who knows, it was popular.

Seriously? Why shouldn't they do another season? It's not based on whether or not it's getting mentioned or used somewhere else, it depends on how much money it made. And given the fact that the show was overhyped from the get-go a second season and a million movies and a trillion other merchandise makers are bound to happen. The studios probably can't afford it to fail that much, so they need to take an extra day to make it and given that every year more hypefests come into existence and more studios get shut down than are established, it will take it's time...

It's definitely possible, but it's a bit of a tricky question considering it still is a light novel, they're the most notorious for getting anime adaptations only meant as advertisement.

The biggest problem is unpopular LN adaptations of course won't get more seasons, but on the other end of the spectrum, the Re:Zero anime was so popular and successful I'm sure the LN got a big boost in sales due to people wanting more.

That's not to say it's unlikely, but basically it's popularity doesn't guarantee a second season. We can't really do anything but speculate

Can't remember where I read it (might've been ANN's Answerman) but most studios are booked pretty much for the next couple years, so it might just be in the queue.

Really hope it gets another season though.

I hope it doesn’t get a second season... I’ll be compelled to watch it since I saw the first, but man do I hate rezero. I hate Subaru with a passion >.<
