| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Looks like this is pretty much the last chapter of High-Rise Horror. It was enjoyable but it felt like the story lost sight of itself at the endgame and most of the stuff that's already established has yet to reach a satisfying conclusion. While it was amusing to see Uzuki finally reunite with Yayoi, Rika getting flustered over Yuri knowing his real identity, and seeing everyone who survived be alive and happy, pretty much all of the characters didn't get the closure they deserved at the very end of the manga. Actually seeing the other supposedly powerful fighters other than the main cast would've been cool too. The world remains mysterious and the real world's nowhere to be seen despite all this talk about multiple dimensions being close to each other. I hope that it doesn't just end here but I doubt it. The art was decent and I really enjoyed reading it in my free time anyway. |

| There's certainly a lot of room for a sequel considering where they ended it but I guess that there will be some sort of large info dump in the beginning because of all the stuff that's been established and the stuff that's been barely introduced right before the ending kek greed2 said: BTW, what anime is that image from both your avatar with the girl with black eyes and the extra image with the Killer Queen? The girl in my avatar an edited mash-up of Risotto from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 5 Golden Wind and Nozomi Tojo from Love Live. The picture in the signature's also Nozomi with Killer Queen from JoJo Part 4. They're completely unrelated anime and I made them both myself~ |

| Yeah, 100% agree that it felt rushed after Aikawa's death. And the overall pacing was getting too high during the end of Aikawa arc. Didn't enjoy the crazy power ups either. Even worse than DBZ on that aspect. Aikawa's death was very rushed by itself and it just escalated in pace from there. I did know that author will fail to deliver on the complicated concept he created, so at the very least in that aspect - I was satisfied, as it did indeed fail to deliver, but it wasn't a complete trainwreck either. A few characters were seemingly forgotten, but otherwise - it seems to be a pretty average conclusion. Not too bad nut nothing special either. Author simply didn't know what to do with the manga anymore, maybe he never even expected it will last this long or wanted it to include something 'cool' but did not realise that doing 'cool' stuff is beyond him. It was enjoyable for the most part either way, but it's not something I would highly recommend, 6/10. |

| This series started really cool, but lost it's way after sometime. The ending was really rushed, if I even can call that an ending. But it was still worth a read, it had really cool characters. Looks there is already a sequel. Well, let's see how it's doing. |

| The ending certainly could have been better. But it was satisfactory. Not great, but just okay. They beat the administrator, and are currently living in the high rise world. I definitely figured after watching the anime that Nise and Yuri would have developed more in the source but they didn't advance much at all. The tits and panty shots were always nice and appreciated. Hopefully the sequel gets fully translated so I can see what happens there. |
