| I think they recycled scenes from last season's specials, when the zombieman dies, the last scene when the power goes out was seen coming, especially with Saitama's sneeze. Anyway it was fun to see Sonic fighting side by side with heroes, I take that image. |

| That was a good note to end on, I really enjoyed in these OVAs, can't wait for S3. Big fan of Metal Bat & Zombieman hope we get to see more of them too! |

| Nothing really new if I'm honest. They basically used the same plot of the "Hot Springs" Special from season 1 but with no drunk Tatsumaki (best part of it) involved. Overall, rather average Specials. Quite forgettable. |
| I don't know.. I can watch anything OPM and have a reasonable good time, even if nothing particular is going on like these Specials. Just the characters and it's style of humor is unlike any other show. |

| bruh it's OPM. The chill soundtrack and the absurdness of the show make it always enjoyable to watch. Plus I got to see the other heroes again. Of course, the only downside is the animation quality and plot pacing (the call from the Hero Association came out of nowhere and ended abruptly, i didn't like that part). But I don't think the OVAs deserve less than a 5/10... I don't let JC's shit animation bother me too much, unlike most edgy reviewers. Also, lol @ that image at the end, what was Child Emperor doing? All he did was stand and point at the bear |

| This is basically just a remake of the last S1 special. It doesn't really work as well. |
| Kill attempt on Zombieman part 2 lol. I knew it had something to do with Saitamas sneeze but damn what an explanation of child emperor. That monster definitely chose the worst timing to appear in that cabin. Would be nice if the get a third season at some point. |

| @Gator yeah, that was my thought too. It was pretty obvious that something like that was the case from the moment the explosion happened right after Zombieman turned on the light tbh. And yeah, Season 3 is taking way too long! Hope it comes soon :). |

| So the second set of specials ends with a bit of a redo of the last special of the first set, being a murder mystery surrounding Zombieman, only this time he gets up right away lol, it makes sense considering we already know that about him tho. And this time around there was no direct “killer”, but everyone was part of the crime due to the amount of electronics in use, as well as Saitama’s sneeze thanks to the particles in the air left by Genos and Sonic’s brief fight, which then caused Zombieman to blow the place up when he lit his lighter. Quite the elaborate setup but it made for a funny ending, especially with the reveal that Flashy Flash was blissfully unaware of everything happening despite the amount of power he was using up on his own lol. Took me a little bit to get around to them, but I’ve finally finished all of the OPM Season 2 specials, and honestly they were all quite good just like the ones for the first season, they added a bit more to the characters we already know and had some good comedic moments, as well as some legit very well animated scenes, especially during the fishing episode and the fake fight between Suiryu and Garou during the fighting game tournament. And as much as I hate to admit, pretty much all of these were better than most of Season 3 lol, it’s sad but the season is nearly over now anyway, just one episode left at the time of writing this (Christmas 2025 as a matter of fact lol). That aside, I liked this extra bit of OPM, I wish there was more to enjoy but this is it, not sure if they’ll do specials for Season 3 or not but I’d be into it, even if the season itself was pretty bad overall. And one last thing, it was nice hearing the Season 2 ED again for these specials, would’ve been nice if they made a new song for these like the ones for Season 1, but I won’t turn down hearing that incredibly nostalgic and beautiful song one last time. |
