| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- We got a much-needed summary for those of us who have been reading the series when it was put on translation-hiatus. Three Nine was obviously a front for Wizard and they pressured all of the stores connected to Burst into cancelling their contracts. Without being able to go to the police, they only had Amano, but he was fully in support of Wizard. A particularly crushing notion for his childhood friend Jin Yamashiro. Not only is Burst going under but with Amano supporting it. We did see the way Amano was fed up with Yamashiro during the Shibuya arc; he stated that Yamashiro was too kind; that he doesn't use people to stand above others, and hinted that the next big problem may not be pretty. After an interesting discussion over the real Taki, one I'm not sure what to make of, something I touched on in the last chapter occurred. That is, the future of Burst from the perspective of Hayama and Mako’s betrayal. It is going to make some decisive and game-changing moments, that's for sure. It is no surprise that Hayama is planning to kill Tatsuhiko, he is officially the biggest threat. I was hoping that Mako would choose to side with Tatsuhiko rather than Hayama, but something pressing occurred before the scene could continue. Yamashiro collapsed! Talk about chaos, I’m getting stressed out! |
