Wow, this chapter made me sad. She barely got to know Miu, Miu tells Akane about the sunflower room and the next thing we see is Miu ending in there and passing away.

I didn't expect this manga to suddenly turn up the drama starting with volume 9.
It was mostly carefree up to that point.

So from what I understand is that Akane has blood cancer?
I didn't know there was radiation therapy for that. I thought the only way to cure it would be a bone marrow transplant. (What they will attempt with Aoi.)

This sure turns into an emotional rollercoaster in the last two volumes.
