----------------------------------------
The chapter felt incredibly weird. In the beginning it played on Tatsuhiko's flaw when it comes to letting promotion get to his head. Whether it's being a poor leader to a new team in Shibuya, or being arrogant and naive when joining middle management. Coming in wearing an extravagant outfit and expecting promotion, which he was offered, that part makes total sense. Ever since Tatsuhiko met Yousuke, it was clear that Tatsuhiko wanted the conviction and ambition to become an executive. He gets overly excited. There was even great comedy in the reveal that it was him wearing the boots, and even in the chapter title, 'grief', as we would expect something far more serious.

The weird part was after all of that was established and Tatsuhiko was drawn ridiculously for comical effect, and he felt more immature than ever, having a tantrum in front of the people that he should respect most. Although, I suppose with Seki gone and Hayama's secret, he may feel different. For the time being however, it felt out of character, and to focus on this gag instead of the moving gears in the grander narrative such as the power shift at Burst or dealing with Hayama, while he is sitting in the freaking office, was unsatisfying. I wonder where this is going and, although levity may be needed, the intent behind this chapter.

We should speak about Hayama for a moment, although Tatsuhiko said that he would forget Hayama, I still expect closure. But most importantly of all, there was a panel back in the Shibuya arc vacation where Hayama walked into the bath with his hair down. I wondered if it was to suggest that he spiked his hair, unlike Tatsuhiko whose hair comically juts up. It was such a small moment that I joked about it with my friend, making a faux analysis that Tatsuhiko's hair earnestly stands high like a beacon of light for others, but Hayama's is artificial, his light is to trick others. It was a dumb joke and that was that. But his hair is down right now?! For the second time since the vacation? I guess this is definitive proof that it wasn't a meaningless panel.

Lastly, I have a nitpick about the new style. Tatsuhiko's mouth is drawn gigantic recently. I can't help but think he looks like a fish.
