Okay, so we did get some more foundation for why Tatsuhiko is acting like a total child. He spent his life savings on his outfit, entirely banking on the idea that he would be an executive. And then nobody stood up for him whatsoever. It's still an incredibly unexpected direction to go. Although the story had the possibility to go anywhere, this is not what I was anticipating. In that way it's out of left field, but it looks like Tatsuhiko gets his foot into the door of the world of hosts.

If you recall chapter three outlined the circle that rules the nightlife. Hosts bleed money out of women, women go to loan sharks and rack up debt, and then scouts pick them up, giving them work. We have seen hosts before, be it when the minor was taken by the yakuza, or freeing Inukai from his fetters as a host. Following Shibuya, we focused on Yamikin and one particular legitimate loan shark. This making up the circle.

This makes the direction the story seems to be going an interesting one in the grand scheme of the circle that rules the nightlife. We can get a firsthand experience of the hosts' role in all of this. It also seems to me that there is a parallel to when Tatsuhiko joined Burst. Mako got a broke Tatsuhiko out of a tough spot and bought him a meal, suggesting that he would have to work in return. This new character has done a similar thing, he even shares the soulless eyes.

Assuming Tatsuhiko will be joining back up with Burst, despite the direction feeling slightly weird, we can learn the ins and outs of this world, and the characters who exist in it.
