| Aye, I love Ai. You could even say I aidoru her. Triple combo puns aside, it's great how easily endearing this new group is. While I don't want to unfairly compare this new entry to its predecessors, it's easy to hope for the same chemistry & charm that has made Love Live such a top tier idol experience. So far, Nijigasaki is definitely offering its own unique flare to the franchise. As Kasumin mentioned, there's all sorts of ways to express being a school idol and so far I like where their answer is going. |

| Kasumi's explanation for why every answer is correct for the question about what a school idol needs to achieve was surprisingly deep indeed~ Ai's such a lovable bundle of positive energy! I was wondering if there was something missing here about her in the anime that I couldn't put my finger on but it turned out that it wasn't anything to worry about the moment she laughed her ass off at Emma's accidental puns. With the way she's so helpful and cheerful, it's pretty easy to misunderstand her demeanor and interpret it as some sort of façade that hides an uglier side of herself underneath but it's great to see that she genuinely just want to have fun and help other people so they can have fun too. |

The good old days when Ai was my favorite from the group (to a point that i watched the first episode with clothes almost identical to hers), looked amazing also while playing basketball (my favorite sport, and Nijigasaki has a cool jersey) and naively thought nothing could ever ruin her... (*laughs nervously in SIFAS chapter 20 released one week after and picks Ayumu from 3rd favorite to 1st) |
