| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Dr. Tenma. Pretty interesting to get to see the origins of Astro Boy firsthand, rather than just the quick account we got at the beginning of this manga. Really nice to see that Scara was still alive, and to realize the time paradox was preventing Astro from working. Sad to see rusted Astro lying out in the fields there and that Scara had to blow him up. Seems like that's the end of Astro Boy's story, unless something else happen that diverges the timeline, though in a way it's still the end of one Astro Boy anyway. Interested to see what role Scara plays in the story going forward. |
| So that's why he was driving the car! Anyway didn't Scara just kill Astro for good? Tobio will eventually go down the same path as Astro and will end up in the past where he'll yet again be destroyed by Scara. |
